Before you ask…

Is the property really fully accessible — or just "accessible enough"?

Fully accessible — and we're careful about that claim. Every part of the property is on a single level with no steps. We have turning radius measurements, door width measurements (36 inches in the Forest Room), and can answer specific questions about our shower configurations, grab rail placement, and bed heights. If you need to speak with us before booking, please call.

What's included in breakfast?

Made from scratch each morning — not a continental spread. Typically eggs from our hens, seasonal fruit, homemade bread, and something warm and unexpected. Dietary needs accommodated with notice: gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian. We grow a lot of what we use.

Is there a minimum stay?

The Ocean Suite has a 2-night minimum in peak and shoulder season. The Forest Room and Harbour Room have no minimum. Off-season (November through April), all rooms are available from one night.

How far is it from Victoria?

About 55 minutes from downtown Victoria by car, following the scenic West Coast Road through Metchosin and East Sooke. It's one of the better drives on the Island — slow down and enjoy it. We're 20 minutes from the Swartz Bay ferry terminal.
